The situation it answers: You are not looking for a country but for room to manoeuvre. A second citizenship gives you visa-free travel, a reserve place to live and security your family can inherit – whatever happens in your country of origin.
What the programmes have in common: the Caribbean citizenship programmes are all based on a contribution or an investment, all require due diligence and an interview, and none requires residence. Since 2024 the region has applied a common minimum, and from 2026 a regional regulator oversees the programmes – the requirements have become stricter and the programmes more credible.
How to choose: at present we offer Saint Lucia's programme, which has been running since 2016 and is one of the most strictly regulated Caribbean programmes. The catalogue will grow with further Caribbean and other citizenship programmes.

Do I have to give up my existing citizenship?
Saint Lucia does not require it. We check at pre-screening whether your country allows dual citizenship.
How long does it take?
The official processing time is about 90 days from acceptance; the whole process, with documents and payments, takes longer – we give the expected timeline in the quote.
Can I travel to Europe with it?
According to official information, a Saint Lucian passport lets you travel to the Schengen area without a visa. The passport does not give you the right to reside in Europe – that is what the residence programmes are for.
Can anyone apply?
No. The programme does not accept applications from Russian and Belarusian nationals; the law excludes people who have been convicted, people under investigation and anyone whose visa application was refused by a country that Saint Lucian citizens may enter visa-free and who has not been granted a visa by that country since.
