Four steps from the first question to the permit in your hand
Every case goes through the same four steps. No surprises: at every stage you know where things stand, what comes next and what we need from you.
Process
The four steps
-
Quote request and pre-screening
You fill in the short form: where you are starting from, what your goal is and who would come with you. We review your situation and reply within 3 days: which programmes could be an option, and whether any requirement is still missing today. We prepare the written, itemised quote once you have chosen the programme and shared the necessary basic documents with us. If a programme is not right for you, we tell you at this point – before you pay anything.
What you receive: a short assessment of your options and of the next step.
-
Written quote
You receive the recommended programme, the list of tasks, the timeline and the itemised fees. Our own fee and the official, translation and insurance costs are on separate lines – you will know what you pay for, why and when. This is when you decide; until then, you have no obligation.
What you receive: the quote and a service agreement.
-
Documents and submission
We put together a document checklist tailored to you. We prepare the wording of company letters and declarations for signature, arrange the translation and the apostille, and check the completed application documents. We or our local partner submit the application; you need to appear in person where the law requires it – we tell you in advance.
What you receive: the document checklist, the checked application documents, confirmation of submission.
-
The permit – and what comes next
We guide you through the procedure: requests for missing documents, coordination, appointments. Once you have the permit, you can still count on us: renewal, bringing in your family, and preparing the next step – settlement or citizenship.
What you receive: the permit, and a reminder of the renewal deadline.
How we work
How we charge
- A written, itemised quote. Our own fee and the external costs on separate lines.
- The official fees are not ours. We show them in the quote for information, and you pay them to the authority.
- No hidden costs. We do not invoice anything that is not in the quote.
How we work
What makes up the cost of a case
The price of a permit is not a single figure but the sum of seven types of item. In the written quote, each has its own line; we do not invoice anything that is not included. We do not give specific amounts on this page, because two cases are rarely the same – but we do tell you what to expect.
| Type of item | What it includes | Who sets it | When it is paid |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official fees | Administrative service fee, visa fee, residence card fee, renewal fee | The authority of the host country; the key facts on the programme page give an indicative amount | At submission, to the authority |
| Obtaining documents | Police clearance certificate, company register extract, birth and marriage certificates, bank letters and medical certificates | The issuing authority, bank or doctor | While the documents are being prepared |
| Translation and certification | Certified translation, apostille or legalisation, notarisation | Translation agency, notary, certifying authority | While the documents are being prepared |
| Insurance | Health insurance valid in the host country and meeting the programme's rules, for the full period of the permit | Insurer | Depending on the programme, before submission or after approval |
| Travel and appearance in person | Consular appointment, biometric enrolment, collecting the card – where the law requires it | You | During the procedure; we tell you in advance |
| Programme-specific items | Investment or donation, tuition fees, savings to be proven, the fee of the local partner office or lawyer, company formation, property, due diligence fee | The programme's rules, or the local partner | Itemised in the quote, with deadlines |
Worth knowing before the quote
- Official fees and income thresholds change every year; on the programme pages, the ‘Last checked’ date shows when we last reviewed them.
- Most official and due diligence fees are charged again for each family member – the size of your family is one of the first questions for the quote.
- If an application is refused, the official fees are typically not refunded. That is what pre-screening is for: before you pay anything, we tell you if a requirement is missing.
- In many cases, translation and certification are the largest external item; so on the document checklist we ask only for what the authority's rules actually require.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How long does a case take?
It varies by programme: the administrative time limit is 21 days for the Hungarian residence permits (70 days for the national residence card), 20 days for the Spanish digital nomad permit and 1 month for the non-lucrative permit, and months for Caribbean citizenship. The programme pages and the quote give the total expected time, including obtaining the documents.
Do we need to meet in person?
No. Cases can be handled remotely, online. Appearance in person is needed where the law requires it: at a consulate, for biometric enrolment, at an interview.
What happens to my data?
We use it only to handle your case, and share it only with the local partner office handling it in that country. The details are in the Privacy notice.
